Well...we decided to go to Hawaii for our tenth anniversary coming up this year. It was a little bit crazy. Zach came down with the flu that Sam had on Easter and then I did. We almost canceled the trip, but decided to go anyways. My flu was pretty much ended the day after we arrived. The trip was quite pleasant until the day before we were supposed to return and our airline went bankrupt. I didn't know that could even happen, but yes, airlines can go under and leave you stranded on beautiful islands. That was a wee bit stressful as we were told no refunds and had to buy expensive tickets to get home. It has since worked out a little better than our initial heartattack and so that is one way to turn a 7 day trip into an 11 day trip. ( I wish we would have enjoyed the four extra days a little more.Pretty much, Zach worked from the room and Sam and I headed to the beach.) Note to self.....next time buy flight insurance.
