We always have fun at Kaysville's finest parade.

Summer again...

It seems like it was just summer, but here it is again. I am excited for all the swim lessons...gardening and vacations. ( No staycations for me)

I think that Sam has grown at least a foot or so it seems. People who haven't seen him for a month or so can't believe how tall he is. I can't believe he is going to be in second grade. His summer plans include...making a river in my mom's back yard, doing experiments and building things out of boxes.

Things that make me happy

1. Grandma took Sam for a sleepover. ( I love you Mom)

2. Zach took me out for Sushi.

3. I have a new orchid that matches my new couch.

4. While Sam was gone, I cleaned out his collection of Capri Sun boxes.

5. Sam came home from Grandmas with a collection of egg cartons.

6. It is time to work in the yard again.

7. My house no longer smells like a skunk. (Poor kitty)

Grandparents Day

Sam's school has a yearly tradition of having a Grandparents Day. The grandparents are invited to have a breakfast with the children before school and have a little tour of the school and then have their pictures taken.

Another Birthday or Square Root Day 3-3-9

I may have had another birthday this year. (No pictures of course) I was able to go to my favorite places...Plates and Palates for lunch with my mom and sister. I then went to Tjmaxx to spend my birthday money. The Saturday before my birthday, Zach took me shopping at Anthropologie and to Sushi. This following week I have friends taking me to lunch too. Sometimes birthdays are just so much fun that I really forget that they are making me older.

Zach's Birthday ..it wasn't raining when we started.

It was great to have Zach around all day for his birthday. We went on this little hike up Adams canyon.I guess this is why we didn't see too many people here in the middle of January.

Christmas

Of course...we had a lovely Christmas. Only somehow I forgot my camera and am waiting to steal my sisters Christmas shots .. so this post will be continued.
