Halloween

Oh my cute little lady bug was so excited for Halloween. I don't think she knew what was going on other than she was getting lots of candy and loved being a bug.

We had a fun Halloween this year. Sam had a school party that included a parade. I don't think his school has done parades in the past years, but we have missed two of those years due to being in Florida. I was able to help out with Sam's classroom party. I helped with the doughnut bob. (Yes..the kids had to try to get the doughnut off a string just using their mouths) It was pretty funny to watch.
Halloween was on a Monday this year and Sam had the day off of school. He spent Sunday night at Grandma Arvella's with the cousins. At 3:00 on Monday, we went down to Zach's office and did some trick-o-treating to all of Zach's co-workers. We stopped at Market Street Grill for dinner on the way home. When we got home the trick-or-treaters were out in  full force. The weather was perfect for my little lady bug. She was so excited about candy and walked the whole cul-de-sac herself. As you can imagine it took a looooong time, so Sam took off and did most of the neighborhood himself.

Grandma and Grandpa Dickens had an early Halloween party this year complete with pumpkin soup bowls.

Scary Sam without his mask.
